01Use an agreed reference
A useful review starts with an approved sample and written specification. Define visual details, dimensions, composition and packing instructions before the order is produced. If a requirement is important enough to affect acceptance, include it in the brief instead of leaving it to an informal conversation.
02Separate visual checks from laboratory tests
Visual review can identify issues such as incorrect artwork, mismatched pairs or packing differences. It does not prove fibre composition or a specific performance claim. If laboratory testing or an independent inspection is needed, agree the test scope, method, timing, responsibility and cost before production.
03Document findings so they can be resolved
Identify the order, style, size and quantity affected by a concern. Add clear photographs and measurements taken by the agreed method. Explain the difference from the approved reference rather than using only a general description. Keep shipping and packing records with the order documents for later review.
