01Distinguish low-cut from no-show
An ankle sock may remain visible above a shoe, while a no-show design aims to sit below the opening. Share a reference shoe or a clear image of the intended coverage. The required shape should be defined by the actual footwear rather than a product name alone.
02Evaluate heel retention
Discuss the heel construction and any grip detail during development. Try the sample while walking and when putting the shoe on and taking it off. A sample that looks correct on a table may behave differently in use, especially at the edges of the proposed size range.
03Balance coverage and comfort
Include the opening depth, toe coverage, seam position and sole thickness in your review. Confirm that labels and packaging clearly identify the intended size range and style. If one design needs to suit multiple shoe shapes, test those combinations before approving production.
Your project checklist
