01Plan the assortment before the order
List the roles in your range: everyday essentials, seasonal styles and more distinctive designs. Give each design a quantity and colour allocation. A total order quantity alone can hide very small runs within each style, so review minimums at the design-and-colour level before finalising the range.
02Make products easy to identify
Agree a naming and item-code system for styles, sizes and colours. Confirm whether each pair needs its own label or whether products will be sold as a multipack. Consistent labels make stock checks and replenishment discussions easier, particularly when similar designs share a display.
03Prepare a repeat-order record
Keep your approved sample, specification version, packaging file and final assortment list. When requesting replenishment, state whether every detail should match or whether some quantities, colours or packaging elements are changing. Availability and delivery dates must be reconfirmed for each new order.
